CUZCO 3/2nights

FIRST DAY

• Transfer from the Airport or bus station to the hotel  
• In the morning, Visit to the four tourist ancient sites in the countryside of Cuzco:  Sacsayhuaman, Qenqo, Puca Pucara,Tambomanchay.
• Lunch
• In the afternoon, Visit to the Catedral (guided tour) and visit to the temple of the Sun: Qoricancha.
• Dinner

SECOND DAY

• Continental Breakfast
• Very early in the morning, Visit to Macchupichu, the fourth marvel of the world, we lead us to the train station (Backpacker turista), from Cuzco to Aguas Calientes, then take the bus going up where is the lost city of Inca’s Empire.

 THIRD DAY

• Continental Breakfast
• In the morning, Visit to the sacred valley: Pisac ancient city and its  tipical market.
•  Lunch in a Tourist restaurant.
• Visit to the old fortress of OLLANTAYTAMBO Y CHINCHERO. These were important buildings made by Incas.  Return to Cuzco around 6:30 p.m.
• Dinner.

VISIT TO THE COLCA CANYON  2/1 NIGHTS

FIRST DAY:

08.00 Pick up from the hotel then taking the north route: Yura,  Pampa de Arrieros and Pampa Cañahuas , looking at the vicuñas , lamas , alpacas and migratory birds to get later in Viscachani where it is used to drink a Coca tea because of the altitude. Continuing we observe tocjras, lagoons and fog monutains. Arriving to the highest point at Patapampa (4830 m.a.s.l), viewpoint of the volcanoes: Hualcahualca, Sabancaya and Ampato, later we arrive to Chivay.(3600 m.a.s.l)
13.00 Lunch and accommodation in the Hotel.

In the afternoon the visit to the hot springs of La Calera, where we stay aprox. 1 hour, good for the illnesses related to the human body.

SECOND DAY: Cruz del Cóndor

05.30 Breakfast
06.30 Start visiting some villages on the left side of the Colca valley, two hours later we arrive to the Cruz del Cóndor where we stay aprox for 2 hours, from here it s possible to see one of the deepest parts of the canyon and the magnificent flight of the Condor. 

Coming back we see arqueological sites, cultivated terraces of Inca period and other views of the Canyon, we visit some little towns like Maca, Yanque where we visit the typical churches built in colonial times, traditional outfits and typical markets.  

Arrive to Chivay and lunch
Return to Arequipa

VISIT TO ICA 2/1 NIGHT

 FIRST DAY: Arequipa-Nazca/Arqueological tour/ Overflight Nazca lines

07.00 Arrive to Nazca.
07.30 Breakfast
08.30 Transfer to the local Airport of Nazca in order to board a propeller plane for a fly-over of the enigmatic Nazca lines, enormous line drawings of animals, birds and geometric figures that still remain etched in the desert, and can only be appreciated from the air. We see from the air the figure of monkey, humming bird, tree, whale, hands, Spider, alligator among the most important ones, Nazca lines, since the time they were discovered in 1926, are the most impressive drawings left by a culture which develop 330 BC.

Then we visit the local museum of Maria Reiche, scientific woman who dedicated her entire life to study and investigate the origen of these enigmatic drawings. Later we visit a viewpoint from where we see the tree and the hands.

After we continue to Paredones, a place which shows a trapezoidal main square, buildings, stores, ceremonial areas, etc made during Incas time. After we continue to the Aqueducts of Cantalloc, one of the most important technologies developed for this culture, these are subterranean aqueducts which allow taking advantage and distributing water from underground.
Finally we see the process to clean gold and the way our ancestors used to make potteries and ceramic.

SECOND DAY : Nazca/ Ballestas Islands

06:30Breakfast
07:00 We start the trip from Nazca to Port of Paracas.
08:00 We leave Port of Paracas towards Ballestas Islands in comfortable boats. During the trip we see the famous chandelier and all the diversity of fauna, where exist lots of birds like guanay, Piquero, Zarcillo, etc besides penguins and a big quantity of sea lions with who establish direct contact.

Return to Arequipa.

PUNO RAPIDO 2/1 NIGHT

FIRST DAY: Arequipa//Sillustani/Puno

07.00 Arequipa-Sillustani
12.00 Lunch
14.00 Guided tour around the Preinca Cemetery of Sillustani close to the Umayo Lake where are located the enormous stone cylinders well-known as chullpas that are necropolis where were buried important dignitaries of Tiahuanaco Culture.  Sillustani has been considered the religious capital of this culture.It also was considered as a sacred place for who settled down in the high plateau 3000 year ago. There were found ceramic and pre Incas buildings years before. Here was developed Tiwanaku culture and later Kolla culture.

16.00 tranfer and acomodation in the hotel in Puno.

SECOND DAY: Puno/floated Islands Uros/Taquile

07.00 Transfers from the hotel to the port in order to start the trip on boat to the Uros floated Islands.
08.00 After 40 minutes of visiting these Islands, we continue on the trip to the natural Taquile Island whose people are dedicated to the agriculture, handicrafts and fishing. People are still living according to their typical traditions and Incas laws: wedding (servinacuy) and the offering to the earth (pachamama).

12.00 (noon), lunch.
After lunch, tourists will have two hours to visit the little village and take pictures of the marvelous views and finally return to Puno.
