Welcome to the 2011 Harley Wood Winter School Webpage


The Harley Wood Winter School (HWWS) is an annual event that aims to bring together honours and postgraduate students with Australian and international experts in astronomy and astrophysics. The school consists of a number of lectures, workshops and informal discussions allowing students to hear a wide range of perspectives on a specific field. It takes place immediately before the Annual Scientific Meeting of the Astronomical Society of Australia being held this year at the University of Adelaide from the 4th to the 8th of July. The 2011 HWWS is being held in the Victor Harbor, south of Adelaide and will run from the 1st to the 3rd of July. 10 speakers will be invited to the 2011 HWWS.
