Most international attendees will require a valid visa and current passport to enter Australia. A currency converter is available here. Please note that air travel to, from, and within Australia can be congested in the workshop period since it coincides with the festival season in Adelaide. THE TOURS: Tours will be advertised here in the future. THE CAR HIRE: The CSSM is pleased to be able to offer workshop participants access to our special hire car rates with Avis Car Hire. If you would like to hire a car for some sightseeing you will need to quote the following number P668999 to obtain the discount rate . The only requirement is that you have had a full drivers license valid in your country residence for at least one year. You might need to present your workshop name badge when collecting your car as proof of being a workshop delegate. The Avis office is located at 136 North Terrace, in the city centre. THE BAROSSA: Barossa is Australia's best known wine-producing region. It is located 55km north-east of Adelaide city. There are now about 60 wineries, both large and small. Adelaide is surrounded by gorgeous hills, beautiful wineries (Barossa, McLaren Vale, Claire Valley, Coonawara), fabulous beaches, conservation and wildlife parks. Further south is Kangaroo island with peaceful scenery, a varied coastline including towering cliffs, swimming and surf beaches, lots of native wildlife. This is one of the very few places in the world where you can see the leafy sea dragon. A few hundred kilometres north of Adelaide are the Flinders Ranges where the Australian outback begins.
