This is my old page at the University of Adelaide. My new page is here . I am a GLAST postdoc at the Santa Cruz Institute for Particle Physics at the University of California. Prior to this I was at Louisiana State University working on the Pierre Auger Observatory. Prior to this again, I worked for the Australian Government at this place for a few years following my Ph.D.
My research interests mainly involve particle astrophysics, but I also have interests in high performance computing and numerical methods. I am particularly interested in the diffuse Galactic and extragalactic gamma ray emission. Currently, I am heavily involved in developing the interstellar emission model for GLAST, which we will need to enable the extraction of the (true) diffuse extragalactic gamma ray background (if there is one). You can get an idea of what I have worked on by having a look here or here , or even here . Naturally, there is always something new in the pipeline.
