Gaudete is a choir formed by Mark Ferraretto and Arturo Dal Cin in February 1995.
We started out with a preference to Renaissance a-capella music although we kept ourselves open to other suggestions as well. As a result our repertoire is mainly from the Renaissance and includes works from de Victoria, Rosselli and Byrd. Our repertoire also extends to more well-known composers such as Mozart (can't get more well-known than that) and some 20th Century compositions.
Gaudete has disbanded temporarily for a number of reasons (not all necessarily musical). We hope to get together again in 1998...
