Welcome to the Home Page of
The University of Adelaide Scouting Club
We would like to thank the Polish Scouting Association ZHP in South Australia Inc., for kindly hosting our www page, until we get ours up and running.
Who are we? and What are our aims?
Well, that's a good question. We are a group of University of Adelaide
students, who believe that scouting is an ideal way of character building
and development for young people.
It teaches you self confidence, responsibility and team-work, as well as
a swag of other useful skills that can be applied indoors and outdoors,
in everyday situations, and maybe even save a life one day.
So, thanks to the kind and generous assistance and support from associations
such as the Adelaide University Student Union and the Polish Scouting
Association ZHP of South Australia Inc, we are trying to spread the word,
to people that may otherwise have never heard it, that scouting has a lot
of solutions to todays problems.
Why a University Scouting Club
Well, one of the mottos used in scouting is:
"Excellence through education!"
