Laura Woithe - 9 months old
Just to add some variation, Laura's 9 month shots were taken during a
swimming session she had on 1 December 2001. Ok, so she was about a week or
so older than 9 months, but what's a week between friends?
Because I like my bath so much, mummy and daddy took me to a big bath for a
change. We started upright, which was fine by me because it meant I could
still chew my fingers.
Then I got to float on my back, and still those fingers could stay in.
However, to come back to the start we had to go on our tummies and I just
couldn't keep my fingers in for that. It did mean that I could lap the
water with my tongue though, which was adequate compensation.
I discovered that you can make big splashs in the pool - much bigger than
mummy and daddy let me do in the bath. Then I saw something I wasn't sure
about and stopped for bit, which lets you see that my cheeks are
still red. No, the teeth haven't put in an appearance yet.
Recently I've learnt how to clap my hands, and I could do it in the pool as
well. I still do it with clenched fists at times, though.
