GENERAL INFORMATION
REGISTRATION INFORMATION: Registration Form
PROGRAMME AND ABSTRACTS: Titles
AFTERNOON SESSION: Subjects or Speakers

GENERAL INFORMATION:

The details of how to register are given at the end of this document. It would be helpful if all registrations could be received by June 15th, 1996. This page will be updated as more information becomes available.

Location:

Purpose: This workshop directly follows the Australian Mathematical Society's meeting at Flinders University. It is designed to provide an opportunity for mathematicians and physicists to present recent results, and to further their interactions in an informal setting. There are a number of seminars scheduled, the speakers are listed below, but sufficient time will be available each day for discussions. Thus there will just be a small number of slots available for additional (short) talks. The working facilities, especially the computing resources, are excellent.

Speakers: The following are expected to give talks.

Registration Fee: There is no registration fee for student participants. For non-students the registration fee is A$25.00, which will be put towards the expenses of running the workshop. No proceedings are planned for the workshop.

Available Support: Some support may be available for the local expenses of students.

Accommodation: For a detailed list of hotels and other types of accommodation in Adelaide click on the following text: Accommodation in Adelaide. For various other local information click on the text: Local Information for Visitors to Adelaide.

An example of the cheaper form of accommodation is that which is located at the Royal Adelaide Hospital (again 2 minutes walk from the Institute):

  • single room with shared facilities - A$18 (full-time student - A$11) per night
  • single room with ensuite - A$45 per night

    PROGRAMME AND ABSTRACTS FOR TALKS:

To see the abstracts of a given talk (if available) simply click on the name of the corresponding speaker (if it is highlighted).
