Start with a Bush Tucker Walk in the Botanic Gardens and discover how native plants were used in traditional Aboriginal culture for food, medicine, weapons and culture. Follow with food tasting and morning tea. Finally visit Tandanya, for a look at contemporary Aboriginal art and a didgeridoo performance. Time: 9.00 am - 1.00 pm Cost: $65 per person (includes specialist guide, transport, tastings, entrance fees) Wednesday, 15 March, 2000 (am, half-day) - Festival Scenes (Tour 3) It is such fun to be in Adelaide at Festival time. There is always so much to see and do. Today we will go "behind the scenes" and find out what makes the Festival so unique. How does it happen? A visit behind the scenes at the theatre to hear how the plays we see are produced. A special visit to the Performing Arts Collection to see some of the wonderful costumes worn by the stars and much more. Time: 9.30 am - 1.00 pm Cost: $45 per person (includes guide, morning tea, entrance fees) Thursday, 16 March, 2000 (evening) - Warrawong at Sunset (Tour 4) Come and experience the magic of the Australian bush setting of Warrawong Sanctuary. A specialist guide will introduce you to some of the endangered species of Australia that roam freely in this protected environment. Dinner at Warrawong is included.
