Computing Facilities in the Department of Physics

Mathematica

The Department has a 20 user network license for Mathematica, it is available from any Digital or Linux workstation (type mathematica) and any PC that has the software loaded. The licensing allows unix/win machines to access our license server remotely, therefore we can load MMA on any machine in the department but only 20 active MMA programs can be run simultaneously - so please remember to close MMA when you are finished to free up the license.

You will find Ver3 manuals in Room123, Ver4 manuals are only available for loan from the Computing Staff in rm213.
