In conjunction with the
Atmospheric and
Space Physics Section, Antarctic Division the Atmospheric Physics Group
operates a 1.94MHz MF Spaced Antenna Radar. This radar was originally located
at Mawson but was moved and upgraded in 1993.Coordinates 69S, 78E
